How to use the sync cable for Z4XL?
1. Download the CFG file HERE under the folder \MISC on every SD cards for the rig.
2. Make the required connection as shown in the sync cable layout below.
- Set the micro button at the sync Cable to M for the master cam, and S for the slave cams.
- Recheck the cables. the output port from one dongle is connecting to the input port on the next one.
- Connect the sync cable when power is OFF.
- Start the master cam first, then the rest of the slaves in sequence.
- Set the same video mode & other color setting manually on every camera.
- When you press the start button on the master cam, every cam will start recording at the same moment. the light may be blinking off phase, but the video shall be recording in sync. When the shooting is done, press the shutter of the master cam again. You may also connect the master cam to it’s smartphone app and trigger the shutter wirelessly.
- Please note that only video mode is working, not in Photo mode or time lapse mode.
